The Conference runs May 27-30 at the Fort Worth Convention Center
The Texas Division of Emergency Management (TDEM) is pleased to announce it is once again accepting presentation proposals for workshops and educational sessions at the 2025 Texas Emergency Management Conference.
The Conference returns to the Fort Worth Convention Center from May 27-30, 2025.
"The boundless knowledge shared by subject matter experts at The Conference is unrivaled, with more than 200 informational workshops delivered at the previous event," said Texas Emergency Management Chief Nim Kidd. "Professionals across the emergency management discipline interested in sharing their experiences and lessons learned, expressing new ideas, or displaying innovative technologies are encouraged to submit their proposal to present at The Conference in 2025.”
The Conference selection committee will consider workshop proposals that address the vast demands of the emergency management landscape across the Lone Star State.
Workshop proposals will be selected based on the following criteria:
Proposals must be submitted through The Conference's online portal no later than December 6, 2024. Final selection of proposals will be made no later than March 2025, and a notification will be sent via email to include a preliminary draft workshop schedule.
The Conference attracts over 3,500 elected officials, first responders, emergency managers, private-sector partners, NGOs/VOADs and decision makers from across the Lone Star State. The four-day educational event seeks to provide approximately 200 workshop opportunities designed to serve as a forum for the exchange of ideas, access to the latest technology, and sharing of emergency management research. The Conference concluded in 2024 with a record turnout, including approximately 4,000 registrants from over 40 states and 3 countries.
