The Texas Division of Emergency Management (TDEM) announced today that registration for the 2025 Texas Emergency Management Conference is now open. The Conference takes place from May 27-30, 2025, at the Fort Worth Convention Center in Fort Worth.
The three-and-a-half-day event hosts a myriad of workshops that promote continued education, spotlighting the brightest minds and leaders in emergency management from across the state and beyond. The Conference is not only a forum of forward-thinking ideas but one of collaboration and gainful networking opportunities with key stakeholders.
“This year’s Texas Emergency Management Conference will gather industry experts and battle-tested first responders to foster a forum for sharing best principles and practices in emergency management,” said Texas Emergency Management Chief Nim Kidd. “The environment in which we live is rife with potential emergencies and catastrophes that require a timely and expert-led response to protect life and property.”
With more than 180,000 square feet of exhibition space, the event welcomed a record 4,000 first responders, emergency managers, elected officials, and jurisdictional leaders from around the country in 2024.Attendees will experience hands-on exposure to a variety of products and services tailored to addressing potential crises and improving disaster preparedness, response, response, recovery, and mitigation.
"TDEM is one of the strongest members of The Texas A&M University System," said Texas A&M University System Chancellor John Sharp. “It gives me extraordinary pride to see our principled values of leadership, excellence, respect, and selfless service on full display at the Texas Emergency Management Conference where we are ready to lead and ready to serve."
"I want to be one of the first to welcome back the Texas Emergency Management Conference to Fort Worth," said Fort Worth Mayor Mattie Parker. "It’s always an exciting opportunity to have Forth Worth front and center for the emergency management discussion. Our city offers a unique blend of innovation and exciting economic development opportunities, and we welcome all attendees to the city where the West begins."
This year’s conference will conclude with an exciting celebratory concert, bringing together attendees to honor their hard work and dedication to the people of Texas and our communities. Texas Country staple Randy Rogers Band will headline the concert at the Fort Worth Convention Center Arena, Thursday May 29th at 8 p.m.
Celebrating more than two decades sharing the Texas Country tradition through nine studio albums, hundreds of millions of streams and numerous Texas Country Radio Chart No.1s, Randy Rogers Band is a must-see Country-Rock performance.
Singer-songwriter Radney Foster will open the show. A recent inductee into the Texas Songwriters Hall of Fame, Foster has had over 20 Top Ten hits, including his own “Just Call Me Lonesome,” “Nobody Wins,” and “Texas In 1880.”
