Governor Abbott, President Trump Visit With Impacted Texans In Kerrville

Governor Greg Abbott and First Lady Cecilia Abbott today joined President Donald J. Trump and First Lady Melania Trump during a visit to Kerr County to meet with Texas families and first responders regarding the recent severe flooding and heavy rainfall that devastated communities across Texas. The Governor and First Lady also visited the Wall of Hope in downtown Kerrville.

"Part of our bloodstream is that we are Texas tough," said Governor Abbott. "We are one team united. Fighting as Texans, we are going to rebuild not just in Kerrville, Hunt, or Kerr County, but across the entire state. As we rebuild, we must also comfort the families of those who have suffered a loss. With those two thing combined, we will be our quintessential selves. Texas tough, Texas resilient."

"The First Lady and I are here in Texas to express the love, support, and anguish of the entire nation," said President Trump. "My Administration is going to do everything in its power who help the affected communities."
