Overview

  • Elevated-to-critical wildfire danger remains in the forecast across the western half of the state through the week of March 16.
  • Dry fuels and high winds are creating hazardous conditions across large portions of the state.
  • Do your part to ensure NO NEW STARTS: ready.gov/wildfires
  • Texans who sustained damage caused by wildfires are encouraged to report damage through the Individual State of Texas Assessment Tool (iSTAT).
