Overview

  • Dry conditions, strong winds, above average temperatures, and low relative humidity have contributed to extremely critical wildfire danger across large portions of the Texas Panhandle and caused increased fire weather in other areas of the state.
  • Elevated-to-critical fire weather conditions are anticipated to continue through the week.
  • Do your part to ensure NO NEW STARTS: ready.gov/wildfires
  • Texans who sustained damage caused by wildfires are encouraged to report damage through the Individual State of Texas Assessment Tool (iSTAT).
