The Texas Division of Emergency Management will be conducting monthly virtual training on the procurement regulations that govern the FEMA Public Assistance (PA) and Hazard Mitigation Grant Program (HMGP) awards. Training will highlight important considerations for each program including cost principles, methods of procurement, and procurement best practices. Compliance with these regulations is required for all recipients, failure to adhere to these regulations will limit reimbursements. Training is scheduled for the second Wednesday of each month at 10 AM (CST).
This high-level course covers basic disaster accounting documentation requirements, processes, and procedures, as well as cost tracking.
